This stroller is one of the most popular expandable strollers currently available on the market. The reason why is its price. It is so cheap. There are many quality expandable strollers on the market including the Thule Sleek, the Nuna Demi Grow, the BJ City Select, and the UPPAbaby VISTA. This one, in contrast, is not. It is considerably cheap compared to the above-mentioned strollers.
And despite being cheap, it is as well-equipped as most of the expandable strollers I have mentioned above. So if you are looking for a quality expandable stroller that is sold at a pocket-friendly price, you will love Evenflo Pivot Xpand.

This toddler seat can be reclined to three different positions. The process of reclining it is easy-peasy and can be done with just one hand just as is the case with top-of-the-range strollers. However, while reclining this seat is as easy as is the case with high-end baby carriages, how deep the seat goes is nothing like what you would expect from a top-quality stroller. The deepest recline position is not the horizontal position. This means this seat cannot be used from birth.

This Evenflo toddler seat is as easy to reverse as it is to recline. It will only take you a couple of moments to safely reverse it thanks to the fact that it is designed in such a way that every point of attachment simply snaps into the right place.
Other features of the Evenflo Pivot Xpand toddler seat include a detachable bumper bar for safety and an adjustable footrest for comfort. You do not need to use more money to buy these two accessories as their price is included in the price of the stroller.

The thing I admire the most about this stroller’s toddler seat if the fact that it can be converted into an infant mode. To do this, you simply need to lift the footrest and recline the backrest to its deepest position.
The Evenflo Pivot Xpand infant mode is not the same as a carrycot or a bassinet. Nevertheless, it provides a safe and comfortable place to sleep or nap for small babies. As mentioned a few moments ago, even at its deepest position, this toddler seat is not flat. This means that even in its infant mode, you should not be using it to carry any baby younger than three months old. Only start using it after your baby turns three months old.
The interior of this toddler seat has thick and cushiony padding. Your baby will feel cozy and comfortable in it.
For safety purposes, this stroller’s toddler seat comes with a safety harness. The safety harness is a special five-point harness that straps the baby securely across the legs and the shoulders to prevent them from falling off or flying out of the stroller. The shoulder straps on the harness are padded for comfort. So your baby won’t feel any pinching on the shoulders.

The Evenflo Pivot Xpand canopy is a special three-panel canopy. It is not the biggest canopy you will see on a stroller but it still provides decent coverage. It will protect your baby from the sun, the wind, and the rain.
The most special thing about the canopy is the fact that it has a mesh viewing window. The window allows you to conveniently monitor your baby from the back of the stroller. And considering the fact that it is a mesh window, it also ensures proper ventilation preventing your baby from overheating especially on hot summer days.

The sibling stroller has the same maximum weight capacity and the same design and features as the Evenflo Pivot Xpand’s toddler seat. So you can use it interchangeably with the toddler seat or use it as the second seat for the stroller.
Attaching the second seat to the frame of this stroller is something you can do easily. You simply need to position it over the built-in adapters and to click in the points of attachment.

As it is evident in the image, you can have the car seat in the upper position to get your youngest just next to you. This is fantastic as most babies need to see their mothers’ faces, otherwise, they become fussy. So if you need a double stroller that will have your youngest closest to you then you should strongly consider getting this one.

Evenflo Pivot Xpand wheels and suspension
This stroller is much cheaper compared to the Baby Jogger City Select and the UPPAbaby VISTA. This is despite it looking as good and being as well-equipped as the above-mentioned strollers. One of the reasons why this stroller is much cheaper is the fact that it is just good enough for urban use unlike the other two which can handle most terrains effortlessly.
One of the reasons this stroller is for urban use only is its small tires. The tires are not only small but also made of TPE. So they cannot really move smoothly over rough terrain e.g. gravel. In contrast, City Select and VISTA tires are rubberized, large, and inflated. They are like bike tires and can pretty much handle all terrains.
One good thing about TPE tires, however, is that they are durable. So they will serve you for a long time especially if you only frequently use them on even terrain.

It is important to note that while the wheels on this stroller are not the best in the industry, they are the better than the wheels that were on the older version of this stroller. They have got better traction so they can handle smooth and tiled surfaces better e.g. mall surfaces.
It is also important to note that this stroller has got bigger rear wheels than the front ones and that all the wheels are supported by a suspension system. The suspension system absorbs shocks and makes it more comfortable for your baby to ride on this stroller and for you to steer this stroller.

The Evenflo Xpand has got a fantastic handlebar. It is not telescopic but it can be rotated to increase or decrease its height from the ground. Thanks to this, most parents find it quite comfortable to push.

This stroller comes with a foot-operated brake for parking. The brake is quite easy to apply and disengage regardless of the type of shoes you are wearing because it is big in size. The brake pedal is positioned near the right side rear wheel.

The storage basket on this stroller is something I really love about it. This is because it is big in size. It is literally two feet long! This means you can use it to carry a large diaper bag, blankets, and more essentials at a go. You can also use it to carry a couple of shopping bags. Meaning it makes this stroller perfect for going shopping with your baby. It is also big enough to carry all the essentials for a day trip or an overnight trip.

If you buy this stroller, you will find out that it is not the lightest baby buggy available online. It has a size that is kind of expected of an expandable stroller. Its weight is also like that of an expandable stroller.
The weight of the stroller is approximately 29 pounds with the toddler seat and it goes up to 36 pounds when you add the SafeMax car seat it comes with. Most of the weight of the stroller is accounted for by the weight of the stroller’s frame because it is big and sturdy. The frame weighs a whopping 22.4 pounds! In my opinion, this is not bad because the frame has got to be big and to be capable of supporting two babies at once.
The width of the stroller is 26.5. This is roughly the average width of a single stroller. SO this stroller can easily fit through elevator doors and regular doorways even when in the double mode. In contrast, other double strollers, especially side-by-side double strollers, have got bigger widths and, therefore, do not easily get through standard doors.

The fold size of this stroller is as indicated below. It is pretty compact and almost has the same dimensions as the fold size of the UPPAbaby VISTA.
Folding this stroller is pretty easy. You cannot do it with only one hand but it is something that you can do quickly and in a couple of seconds. You can fold the Evenflo Pivot Xpand with or without its toddler seat. Nevertheless, to get the most compact fold, you should detach the toddler seat and the bumper bar. The most compact fold of this stroller can fit easily in any car trunk.

Unlike most strollers, this stroller comes with a compatible infant car seat (the SafeMax). This is pretty nice. It also includes a toddler seat and a bumper bar as is the case with most strollers. From this information, you can probably gather that it is ready to utilization as a single or double baby buggy.
The Evenflo Pivot Xpand also comes with a generous storage basket and an expandable cup holder. All the things I have mentioned so far come with this stroller. Their costs are included in the price of this stroller. However, there are some accessories that are compatible with this stroller but do not come with it. These accessories must be purchased separately if needed.

What to consider before buying this stroller
While this stroller has a standard single stroller width, it is long. So while it can fit through standard doors and elevator doorways, it is somewhat difficult to steer or turn especially around tight corners or aisles because of its length.
Moreover, while this stroller has got some nice tires, it is only good enough for flat urban terrain. It does not work well on rough terrain.
