BOB Revolution PRO double stroller
This twin stroller is not newborn-ready. However, with adapters, you can fit one infant car seat on it. You can, therefore, use it to carry one newborn baby and an older baby.
However, I do not like three things about this double stroller. First, it is a bit cumbersome to fold. You need a bit of effort to fold it. Secondly, it comes with an open storage basket. Although the basket is good enough for carrying plenty of stuff when it is open like it is it exposes the stuff you are carrying to dirt or the rain. Lastly, although it is expensive, the BOB Revolution stroller does not have as many accessories as I expected it to have. It does not have cup holders, a parent tray, or even the requisite tire pump.

As usual, I did check the reviews on this stroller’s Amazon page. As of the time I was writing this review, the stroller already had well over three dozen reviews. Here are the things the reviewers were saying they liked and did not like about the stroller.

This stroller weighs 36 pounds. It is big and bulky so you will need a bit of effort to compress it and lift it into the trunk of your car. Its size is not unique though because most double strollers are similarly heavy. However, there are a handful of double strollers that are lighter than it.
Furthermore, this running double stroller is not newborn ready. However, it is compatible with popular infant car seats and can, therefore, be made ready. Nevertheless, only one infant car seat can be used at a time.

This is a brilliant double running stroller with plenty of exciting features. In fact, it has got most of the same features as the BOB Revolution stroller I earlier reviewed. The only difference between it and the BOB stroller is the price; it is slightly cheaper.
The stroller comes with a simple three wheel format; one 12-inch front wheel and two 16-inch ones at the back. The single wheel at the front swivels freely making this stroller easy to control. However, if you need to, you can lock it to make this buggy more stable when running. The locking mechanism can be activated from the handlebar. No need to bend over and manipulate a dirty lever near the front tire as is the case with most other strollers.
This Baby Jogger Double Stroller also comes with a good suspension system that absorbs shocks and makes it glide even over uneven surfaces. Your babies will be very comfortable in it.
With regards to safety, the stroller comes with two brakes; one is hand-operated, while the other is foot-operated. Of late, it has become very obvious that running strollers do need a hand-operated brake since applying a foot-operated one when jogging at a high speed is difficult to do. The handbrake on this thing is well-located and easy to apply and control speed when running.
The handbrake is really convenient and important for the control of this stroller. Without it, it would be difficult to maneuver this 37-pound stroller.
The footbrake is really a parking brake. You can use it to lock this stroller in place and prevent it from moving away from wherever you are. The safety wrist tether on the handlebar also kind of does the same thing.
One of the things I love about this Summit X3 double running jogger is its adaptability. Most of the stroller’s features can be adapted individually to make them work better for you and your little passengers. For instance, you can recline each seat individually. This means you can set one to a near-flat position to enable one of your babies to nap comfortably and leave the other one upright to let the other baby continue enjoying the sights and sounds.
When one of the seats is fully reclined, it exposes a vented top. The top ensures proper air circulation and prevents overheating during summer.
The canopies on this thing can also be adapted separately. You will like how far down you can extend each canopy. They both get to the knees. Thus, when extended, the canopies form a nice sleeping pod for your babies.
Each canopy has a see-through window on top which you can use to closely monitor your babies without disturbing them when they are napping.
Although the Baby Jogger X3 is quite adaptable, its handlebar is not, which is very unfortunate. Since its height is not adjustable, it is probably not best for parents who are very tall or very short.
When buying strollers, I usually only go for something I can easily fold and put in the trunk of my Ford sedan without the help of my husband. If I did not have a stroller, I would get this one because it fits this criterion thanks to its patented folding design. The design enables users to fold it one-handedly. When folded, it becomes compact and slim enough to easily carry and put in a car trunk.
This stroller comes with a big storage basket. However, I do not like the fact that it has an opening with a metal bar right down the middle. This bar makes it difficult to store some things in the basket. Nevertheless, you can store a good number of things in it although taking them out will be cumbersome. There are a couple of mesh pockets inside the seats and at the back of the seats where you can carry your phone, your keys, pacifiers for your babies, and maybe some snacks or toys.
Unfortunately, this double jogging stroller does not come with accessories such as child trays and cup holders. You will have to buy them if you really need them.

This double running stroller is not newborn-ready; it cannot be used to carry infants. It also not compatible with any infant car seat. For safety purposes, you should only use it when your twins are six or seven months old and can sit up straight and hold up their heads without any assistance.
Why you should buy this stroller
- It is cheaper than most premium double strollers. Moreover, the last time I checked it I saw that it was on offer. This means you can get it at a very pocket-friendly price.
- It works for twins but can also be used by different age babies. Moreover, many of their features and functions can be separately adapted to maximize the comfort of however needs it.
- It has got deep and well-cushioned seats that are suitable even for bigger kids. You can expect it to serve you for ages.
Baby Trend Expedition Double Jogger
This is a one of a kind double jogger! It is one of the best and also one of the cheapest ones available online. Despite its price, it performs like an F1 car! It glides very smoothly and is brilliant on flat surfaces.
Even though it works like a charm, it does not have some accessories. Nevertheless, considering its price, this is something you will be kind of expecting. But it is still a good choice for serious joggers and for use as a day-to-day stroller.
The stroller has three big and air-filled wheels. You can leave the front wheel to swivel for better steering or lock it for more control.
This Baby Trend stroller is quite safe. Its safety features include a safety wrist leash to make sure the stroller does not roll away from where you are standing or sitting, reflectors to increase its visibility when jogging early in the morning or late in the evening, and safety harnesses to strap your babies in and prevent them from falling out.
However, I do not really like the harnesses. This is because they are not padded and may, therefore, be somewhat uncomfortable for your babies. Nevertheless, it compensates for the lack of padded harnesses with plastic footrests that can be easily and quickly cleaned.
What’s more, unlike the harnesses, the seats are generously padded and quite comfortable.
Besides the ordinary features and functions I have mentioned about the Baby Trend Expedition Stroller, it also comes with several unique features and accessories, you will not find in many strollers. The features and accessories include two cup holders and a parent tray. They also include a closed storage box, which is something most premium double running strollers do not have.
Moreover, this Baby Trend stroller is also fitted with MP3 speakers. The speakers are compatible with all iPods, iPhones, Android phones, and other MP3 music players. This means you can listen to music when jogging or treat your twins to some music while on the go.
However, you’ve got to be cognizant of the fact that some color versions do not have these speakers. So confirm before you buy, if this feature is very important for you.
There is a large storage compartment underneath the seats. The compartment can hold plenty of baby stuff. You could even use it to carry your shopping. Besides the compartment, there is a pouch behind each seat. The pouches are for storing your phone, your keys, and other stuff you may need quick access to.
There is also a pocket inside each seat. This is where you can keep pacifiers, toys, and sippy cups for your little passengers.
I honestly believe that this is a very good double jogger based on its price, its construction, and its cool features. However, there are some things I do not like about it. For example, it has a single canopy for both seats. Thus, if your babies want to do different things at the same time, you will be in trouble. For instance, if one wants to nap and the other to sit upright and see the surroundings, you will not be able to create a sleeping enclosure for the napping one to sleep comfortably without offending the baby who is awake.
Another thing that I do not like about this stroller is its lack of a handbrake. This is because it is a big double running stroller and the lack of a handbrake makes it very difficult to control. However, it does have a footbrake/ parking brake so it will not roll away from you if you apply this brake.
Lastly, this stroller does not come with a suspension system. The lack of a suspension system is not a problem for it on most surfaces because it has big air-filled tires. However, when running on harsh terrain, the wheels will not be able to cushion the shocks and the ride could become uncomfortable for your babies.

This is a great inexpensive stroller. However, it does not perform superbly on uneven surfaces. It is mostly an urban stroller that you should strictly use on pavements, and sidewalks and at the park. However, considering that it is over thrice cheaper than some of the other strollers in my list, you should not really be expecting much from it. I included it for those looking for a pocket-friendly double jogger.

- It is well balanced and it is, therefore, suitable for carrying twins and babies of different sizes and ages.
- It comes with cool accessories including a parent tray and MP3 speakers. Not many double running strollers boast of similar accessories.
- It is a cheap double stroller that is good enough for daily use and for light jogging.
Baby Trend Navigation Stroller
This is the second double jogger on my list from the Baby Trend Company. The company is renowned for its superior quality strollers. This latest release is no different, in terms of quality, with previous Baby Trend Strollers!
Some of the unique features you will find interesting on this stroller include its MP3 speakers, its ability to carry to infant car seats, and its four-wheel construction.
Most joggers have a three-wheel design, however, this one comes with a four-wheel design. It is believed that this design provides greater stability and makes this stroller easier to push and control.
The four wheels are all big and pneumatic (air-filled). The rear ones are however bigger for more stability. These wheels are designed to handle all terrains. Out of the four wheels, the two front ones can be locked for better stability or left unlocked for easier maneuverability.
The four pneumatic wheels together with the brilliant suspension system built into this stroller guarantee comfort for your twins even when you are pushing the stroller on rough and bumpy surfaces.
Unlike other double strollers that can only fit one baby car seat, this Baby Trend Stroller can fit two at the same time. This makes it the most newborn-ready double stroller out there! You can use it from day one! However, you will need to buy compatible baby car seats to be able to use it. Once your babies become old enough, you can carry them in the cushioned and well-padded regular seats and start running with them.
The Baby Trend Navigator can carry two infant car seats at the same time
The seats on this thing can be reclined. They can be significantly reclined to a point where they will look like loungers. This makes them perfect for napping. The seats are padded for comfort so you do not need to fret about them being uncomfortable for your passengers.
Each seat comes with a vented top for proper air flow. However, the canopies on the seats are somewhat small. Nevertheless, they can be extended to provide cover against strong wind and low sun.
This stroller is rather easy to fold. You only need to pull its triggers and it will fold itself into a compact little unit that is easy to carry and lift.
In terms of accessories, not many double running strollers can beat this one. The reason is that it comes with plenty of cool and useful accessories including a cute little storage compartment for your essentials, two beverage holders, two child trays with spaces for holding sippy cups, and MP3 speakers through which you can play motivational music when jogging.
There is a large storage compartment under each seat. The compartments are big enough to carry plenty of stuff for you and for the kids. However, if you ask me the singular storage compartment is usually better because it forces you to keep everything in one place making it easy for you to find whatever item you have stored.
Baby Trend Navigator in the folded state
As it is evident from the statements I have made about this stroller over the last couple of paragraphs, it has got some awesome features. Nevertheless, it also comes with some flaws. For example, it does not have a good suspension system. This makes it unsuitable for longer runs on bumpy terrains. It is better used for strolling and light jogging on flat terrains.
What may also be a deal breaker for you is the fact that it does not come with a handbrake. The lack of a handbrake makes it difficult to control it, especially when running. In fact, it is for this reason that I do not recommend serious running with this stroller. The makers of this stroller did, however, try to make it safer by adding a safety tether and a parking brake in lieu of the handbrake. These features do obviously make it safer but not as safe as it could have been had it been fitted with a handbrake.

Although this stroller has got some big air-filled tires for shock absorption, it does not come with a conventional suspension system. It, therefore, does not do very well on uneven surfaces, especially at high speeds.
Why you should buy this stroller
- It is a low-priced stroller that is made of premium quality materials and has awesome built-in accessories including MP3 speakers, two child trays (one for each child), and a parent tray and compartment near the handlebar.
- It is well balanced and can be used to carry twins or to carry children of dissimilar weight.
- As far as I know, this is the only twin jogger that can fit two baby car seats at the same time. This means it is the most newborn-ready double stroller currently available on the market!
What to get if you do not want a stroller
If you feel as if strollers are not for you, then maybe you should go for a baby trailer. Unlike strollers that need to be pushed, a baby trailer can be pulled with a bike. You can also just pull it yourself. Generally, trailers are much easier to operate especially when carrying an older baby.
Just as is the case for strollers, there are quite a number of baby trailer brands available on the market. Below I discuss the best baby trailer that money can buy – the Thule Chariot Cheetah XT Trailer.
The Thule Chariot trailer
This is a gorgeous baby trailer that can be used in several ways outdoors. Compared to newer editions of the stroller such as the Chariot Lite and Chariot Cross, the Chariot Cheetah is a low-priced trailer that comes with plenty of great features and functions.
This Thule baby trailer is designed for several uses. You can go skiing with it, you can jog with it, you can go cycling with it, or you can use it as an everyday baby carriage. For each of the main uses, it comes with special adapters and attachments that you can easily add to make it better for a specific use.
You will find that this trailer comes with big and air-filled tires. The tires are supported by a good suspension system. These features make it perfect for multiple uses on most terrains.
The front wheel of this trailer is permanently locked. This means it is more stable than other trailers with swiveling front wheels. The locked front wheel provides stability on uneven surfaces. However, it also makes it difficult to navigate this stroller through tight spaces.
This trailer when set up for jogging
Overall, you will find this trailer to be easy to push and navigate.
As mentioned before, the tires on this trailer are big. They are almost as big as kid bicycle tires. They make it easy to push or pull this trailer on difficult terrain.
This trailer is perfect for those who are serious runners. This is because its 16-inch wheels are ideal for moving at high speeds.
The thing about this trailer is that it is very adaptable. For example, you can remove the locked front wheel and replace it with two smaller and swiveling ones for better maneuverability. This means you can easily change one or two things about this trailer to get it to better serve your needs.
This trailer is available in two versions. One version is the single version, while the other is the twin version. This single version can safely carry even a 75-pound toddler. The double version has a weight capacity of 100 pounds. So if you have one heavy kid, you are better off getting the single version, while if you have twin toddlers, the double version is probably what you should get.
The single version weighs 20 pounds, while the double version weighs 27 pounds. Again, if weight is an issue for you, then you now know which one to get.
The single version has one padded seat while the double version has two padded seats. The seats are all supplied with a five-point seatbelt to keep your baby or babies safe when you are training. The single trailer is big enough to comfortably carry even a seven-year-old child. So it is something that can serve you for a very long time.
When you see this stroller, you will quickly notice that it is not built to carry infants. It is more of a toddler carriage than a newborn carriage.
The two versions of the Chariot Cheetah trailer
This trailer comes with a canopy/ flap that you can use to close the trailer and create a safe and enclosed space for your child to catch some Zs. The front part of the flap can be opened to expose a mesh screen through which you can monitor your baby. The mesh is fantastic especially during summer when maximum airflow is needed to prevent the baby from overheating.
I also love this trailer’s side fabric. This is because it is a special reflective material that reflects light in low light areas and increases your visibility. It is very useful when jogging in the morning or evening because it will become more visible and safer and reduce the likelihood of an accident occurring.
The handlebar on this trailer is extendable. So if you are a small mom like me or you are a tall mom or dad, you will be able to use this stroller after adjusting its handlebar to make it more comfortable for you.
One of the things I did not like about this stroller alternative is that it does not come with a storage basket. It only features mesh pockets for storing essentials. This means you will not be able to carry all the essentials you need in it.
Moreover, I also did not like the fact that its seat cannot recline. It seemed very odd to me.
